Jupiter 2 w/recast chariot with flashing fusion core

This is my Polar Lights Jupiter 2. I was very unhappy with the fusion core that came with the kit so I exchanged
it with a fusion core (solid resin) from Matrix Models. A Garage Kit from the 80s. I drilled straight down into
the solid resin and fit (Lunar Models old lighting kit right down into it.
Left is a Resin copy of the Chariot from Lost In Space made originally by Aurora/Polar Lights. The copy is by TNT
Productions. The hardest thing about building this model, is that the corner windows were solid resin. Fortunately
they were thick enough to alow a mini power saw to cut through. Which would you prefer? The old kit or the new
and improved one?
